Hi, there. I got the similar problems. I found a week ago my single harddisk Asustor NAS prompted me with a red light signal with strange sound releasing from the harddisk(3TB). I then sensed that there must be a problem with my harddisk and I bought a new harddisk (3TB) and had it added to my NAS. The storage was then set to Raid 1, hoping that I could synchronize the defective old harddrive with the new one before it totally crashed. Luckily, I did that and the NAS worked fine with both the old defective drive (3TB on slot 1) and the new one (3TB on slot 2) . I then bought 2 other new drives (4TB) and upgrade my NAS as follows:
1. I removed the defective old drive (3TB) from slot 1 and replaced it with a new drive (4TB) and now the storage was synchronized as Raid 1 with a new 4TB drive (slot 1) and a new 3TB drive (slot 2).
2. After the synchronization, I removed the new 3TB drive from slot 2 and replaced with another new 4TB drive and now the storage was synchronized as Raid 1 with 2 new 4TB drives.
3. However, the disk capacity still remained 3TB although I have replaced the 3TB drive with a 4TB one. I then clicked the function of "Expand Capacity" and the storage then synchronized again.
4. After synchronization, I could not update any apps and it seemed all the web server and the installed apps stopped working. The icons of the installed apps appeared blank. I was prompted with error :ref 5401 when I tried to update any of them.
Please refer to the attache screenshots. I should be much grateful if you could please advise me on how to rectify the above problems. Thanks in advance.
